As an EFPG supplier - The purchase order you have received, consists of products and/or services for aviation, space or defense customers that stipulate flowdown requirements contained in specification AS9100. (consult the EFPG buyer for confirmation).

The purchase order contains requirements for the following, as applicable:
  • The processes, products and/or services to be provided including the identification of relevant technical data,
  • The approval of products and/or services, methods, processes and equipment, as applicable, and the release of products and/or services,
  • The competence, including any required qualification of persons,
  • The suppliers interactions with the EFPG,
  • The control and monitoring of the suppliers’ performance to be applied by the EFPG,
  • The verification or validation activities that the EFPG, or its customer, intends to perform at the suppliers’ facility,
  • Any special requirements, critical items or key characteristics,
  • Any test, inspection, or verification activities at the suppliers’ facility,
  • The use of any statistical techniques utilized for product acceptance and any related instructions for acceptance by the EFPG.
The responsibility of the EFPG Supplier is to:
  • Implement a quality management system,
  • Use customer-designated or approved suppliers including process sources for special processes,
  • Notify the EFPG of any nonconforming processes, products or services and obtain approval for their disposition,
  • Prevent the use of counterfeit parts,
  • Notify the EFPG of changes to processes, products or services including changes of their external providers or location of manufacture and obtain the EFPG’s approval,
  • Flowdown to sub-tier suppliers applicable requirements including customer requirements,
  • Provide test specimens for inspection/verification, investigation or auditing,
  • Retain documented information that remains protected, legible, is retrievable, identifiable and without deterioration for a period of seven years, or as otherwise identified by the EFPG,
  • Identify the disposition methods of record destruction upon the limits of retention,
  • Allow the right of access by the EFPG, their customer and any regulatory authorities to the applicable areas of the suppliers facility and to the applicable documented information, at any level of the supply chain,
  • Ensure that their employees are aware of:
    • Their contribution to the product and/or service conformity,
    • Their contribution to product safety, as applicable,
    • The importance of ethical behavior.

By accepting the EFPG purchase order, along with the standard EFPG “Terms and Conditions” listed elsewhere, the above items are also made part of the purchase order and will be enforced with the same degree of diligence.
