ITAR COMPLIANCE PROGRAM FOR EFPG SUPPLIERS
Please understand that this just a guideline, an informal assistance for our suppliers to set up an ITAR program that will meet our requirments and be in compliance for EFPG. For clear and consise detail please visit the U.S. State Departments website http://www.pmddtc.state.gov/regulations_laws/itar_consolidated.html
As a quick summary of 22CFR Sec. 120-130 can be given as follows:
A set of regulations established by the US Government to control the distribution and delivery of information, data and product to foreign countries and foreign nationals without appropriate license to receive the aforementioned. Not withstanding, there are penalties for violation.
The Government controls: The Government does not control:
* License and registration process * The method used to accomplish compliance
* What parts are included/excluded
* Countries of export
* Classification codes
* Penalties
* Surveillance
Please remember, if you provided a part complete to print where you sent work to a subtier process supplier, that supplier must now also comply and the flowdown requirements apply to that supplier.
Above all else, EFP does not want to see our suppliers fail in this endeavor. If you are unsure, hesitant, have questions or just dont know where to begin, please contact any of the following people:
